City of Berkeley
Our project with the City of Berkeley aimed to assist cities to engage a broad set of stakeholders, technical assistance providers, and innovators in identifying and implementing actionable GHG reduction strategies. The deliverables included a customizable Request for Information (RFI) and an Outreach Toolkit.
We also provided guidelines for facilitating a Climate Solutions Ideas Competition in each city designed gather ideas from the local community on how to hit the cities ambitious 2020 and 2050 climate action plan goals. This included
An outreach and communications strategy for promoting an idea’s competition or RFI.
A Program Evaluation Tool (PET) which can evaluate the environmental, social and economic cost benefits of various program proposals including: potential GHG savings and triple bottom line return on investment.
